Rules
Crystal Casino observes Nevada gaming rules.
Age Limit
Guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter the gaming areas, or to play any monetary games of chance (including Bingo) on board.
Casino Credit
- Guests can apply for a line of credit to be used exclusively for Casino play.
- Lines of credit expire after 12 months of non-activity. Guest’s that have not sailed on a Crystal cruise for more than a 12-month period will need to re-apply to Crystal Cruises for a line of credit.
- Crystal Casino credit application forms are included in final travel documents, and are available on the Crystal website for download.
- A Casino shipboard advance of up to $300 USD per person, per day, may be charged to the guest’s shipboard account (maximum of $3,000 USD per cruise).
- Guests may write personal checks for up to $3,000 USD and receive cash at the Front Desk.
- Guests may exchange Travelers Checks at the Casino for cash, no charge.
- Guests may exchange Travelers Checks at the Front Desk for up to $3,000 USD.
- Some foreign currencies may be exchanged at the Casino Cage.
Casino Playing Chips
Crystal Casino playing chips can be used on both Crystal ships. Caesars Palace at Sea gaming chips expired in 2007 and are no longer valid.

Complimentary drinks are served for all players.
Gaming Lessons - Tournaments – Bingo
Complimentary gaming lessons, Blackjack and Slot tournaments and Bingo are offered on every cruise.

Operating Hours – The Casino is always closed in port.
Casino opening hour’s sea days:
- Slot Machines – 10:00 AM to 2:00 AM
- Table Games – 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
Casino opening hour’s port days:
- Slot Machines – Open 1 hour after sail away until 2:00 AM
- Table Games – Open 1 hour after sail away or 8:00 PM (whichever is earlier) until 2:00 AM
- If the ship sails at 10:00 PM or earlier the Casino will open. If the ship sails at 11:00 PM or later the Casino will remain closed.
Other hours of operation:
- The first and last day of the cruise the Casino is closed at 1:00AM.
- Any variation to operating hours due to itinerary or regulations will be advertised during the cruise.

Due to the nature that our ships cruise in waters around the world, and that each country has different stipulations on operating a Casino in their waters, this has been a set policy to provide consistency for our guests and staff.
